After dozens of hours of discussions about the many practical life questions that people all over the world ask, Steve and Ben Davis launched their idea for: Practical Preparation for Progress, P3, in early 2018.
With most of humanity asking important questions relating to human nature, conditions, and environments, Steve and Ben believed many people could benefit by applying the simple, yet effective P3 concepts. After months of planning and developing their program, P3 was first implemented at a High School in Cape Town, that previously offered no other after school programs.
All children, regardless of background or environment deserve and benefit from extracurricular activities. It is important to learn and also have fun, for healthy personal growth and development to take place.
Thus, the implementation of P3’s 1st soccer program in Cape Town, South Africa began in August, 2018. Boys and girls aged 13 to 18, joined P3 to gain practical life knowledge, and develop their abilities on the soccer field in a professionally organized and safe environment. Due to the fact that most all of these students families struggle to adequately feed their children on a daily basis, P3 filled this need by providing daily meals after every session for all members and coaching staff.
Additionally, every practice consisted of at least one lesson taught in a simple & straightforward way. Doing so allows students to better understand the importance of these universal life lessons. (Please find some of our lessons listed on the bottom of the home page). Students then may be asked later on what they learned in some days prior lesson, where they are rewarded for their knowledge. The students were thrilled with how they were benefiting personally after the implementation of P3’s practical lessons in their lives.
